Educate

Schools in the hills

Profits from our experiences go back into village schools. So far we have painted and equipped schools with water coolers, fans, textbooks and stationery, and installed lights, fans, solar panels and inverters in schools and anganwadis.

Guests often spend time teaching and playing with village children, and our programmes for city children build a love for nature, survival skills and an understanding of sustainability.

Employ

Livelihoods close to home

Villagers know these mountains better than anyone, which makes our experiences safer and more authentic. We train local hosts and guides to lead trips using our procedures, with skills in leadership, communication, first aid and outdoor management.

Jobs in the village mean families can stay together instead of migrating to the city for work.

Search and rescue

Our team volunteers with Sahyadri search and rescue, with 48 live rescues to date.
